These terms cover the use of this website and the free services offered by A New Life in Christ Ministries and Resources Inc.
The short version. Everything we do for families is free. We help you apply for programs, but we do not decide who gets approved — the agency does. Nothing on this website is legal, medical, financial or immigration advice. This is not an emergency service: if you need help right now, call 911, or 211 for food, shelter and bill help, or 988 for a mental health crisis.
This is not an emergency service
A New Life in Christ Ministries and Resources operates by appointment during office hours. This website and our forms are not monitored around the clock. Submitting a form does not alert anyone immediately.
If you or someone else needs help right now:

Our services are free
A New Life in Christ Ministries and Resources does not charge families for any of its community services. There is no fee, no membership requirement, and no cost of any kind.
If anyone asks you to pay for help that we provide, that person is not acting for us. Call (786) 396-3144 and tell us.
We help you apply. We do not decide.
This is the most important thing on this page.
A New Life in Christ Ministries and Resources helps families complete and submit applications for programs such as SNAP, Medicaid and Florida KidCare. We do not administer those programs and we cannot approve, deny, expedite or appeal any application. Those decisions belong to the Florida Department of Children and Families, Florida KidCare, and the other agencies that run them.
We will complete your application carefully and submit it properly. We cannot promise an outcome, and nobody here can tell you that you will be approved.
Availability is not guaranteed
Food, rental assistance and other direct help depend on what is available at the time. Being eligible does not mean an item or a payment is in hand. We will tell you honestly what we have.
Eligibility rules change
Program rules, income limits and application processes change, sometimes at short notice. We keep this website as current as we can and each page carries a last-reviewed date, but the agency's own published rules are the authority, not this website.

The information on this website is general. It is not, and must not be relied on as:

- Immigration legal advice. We are not attorneys and not accredited representatives. We refer families to accredited immigration organizations. See our immigration resources page.

Referrals to other organizations
When we cannot help directly, we refer families to partner organizations and to other agencies. Those organizations are independent. We do not control their services, their availability, their fees or their conduct, and a referral is not a guarantee that they will be able to help.
The same applies to links from this website to other websites. We link to them because we think they are useful. We do not control what they publish.

Schools, clinicians, caseworkers and agencies who submit referrals through this website confirm that they have the consent or authority required to share information about the person being referred.

This website is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, A New Life in Christ Ministries and Resources Inc. is not liable for loss arising from the use of this website or from reliance on its general information. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
