What to bring
Bring what you have. If something is missing, come anyway — staff will help you work out how to get it.
- Photo ID for the adult applying
- Social Security cards for everyone in the household, if you have them
- Proof of income — pay stubs from the last 30 days, benefit award letters, or self-employment records
- Proof of address — a lease, mortgage statement, or utility bill
- Any letters from DCF about your case
- Birth certificates for children, if you are applying for Florida KidCare or Medicaid

Do I need an appointment?

Bring a photo ID, Social Security cards for everyone in your household if you have them, proof of income such as pay stubs from the last 30 days, proof of where you live such as a lease or utility bill, and any letters you have received from DCF. If you are missing something, come anyway. Staff will help you work out what to do next.
Is there a cost?
No. Every service from A New Life in Christ Ministries and Resources is free. Nobody should ever ask you to pay to apply for SNAP, Medicaid, or Florida KidCare.
Can I get help if I am not a U.S. citizen?
Yes. A New Life in Christ Ministries and Resources serves every family, and we do not ask about immigration status. Children who are U.S. citizens qualify for Medicaid regardless of their parents' status, and some non-citizen children may qualify too. Staff will check what your family is eligible for.
