This policy explains what information A New Life in Christ Ministries and Resources Inc. collects, why, who sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
We do not sell your information. Not ever, and not to anyone.
The short version. We collect what we need to help you and nothing more. We use it to contact you and to complete the applications you ask us to complete. We share it only with the agency the application goes to, or with a partner organization when you ask us to refer you. We do not ask about immigration status. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by calling (786) 396-3144.
What we collect
When you ask for help
If you call us or send the form on the Get Help page, we collect your name, phone number, ZIP code, county, what you need help with, your language preference, and anything else you choose to tell us.
When we complete a benefit application with you
A New Life in Christ Ministries and Resources is a registered MyACCESS Partner with the Florida Department of Children and Families. To complete an application for SNAP, Medicaid or Florida KidCare with you, we handle the information the State requires, which can include Social Security numbers, dates of birth, household income, employment details, and information about everyone in your household.
We collect that information to submit your application and for no other purpose.
When a professional refers someone to us
Schools, caseworkers, clinicians and agencies refer clients to us using our referral forms. Those forms can include clinical and health information about the person being referred.
When you visit this website
Like most websites, ours records standard technical information: the pages you visit, roughly where you are connecting from, your browser and device type, and how you arrived. We use Google Analytics for this. It does not tell us who you are.
What we do not collect
- We do not ask about immigration status, and we do not record it.
- We do not take payments on this website and do not hold card details.
- We do not require an account. There is nothing to sign up for.
How we use it
- To contact you about the help you asked for
- To complete and submit benefit applications on your behalf, with your permission
- To refer you to a partner organization when we cannot help directly, with your permission
- To tell the person who referred you that we have been in touch
- To report totals to funders — how many families were served, and with what. These reports never contain names or identifying details.
- To improve this website

A New Life in Christ Ministries and Resources does not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone, for any purpose.
Government agencies, when you ask us to apply
When we complete an application with you, that application goes to the agency that administers the program — the Florida Department of Children and Families for SNAP and Medicaid, or Florida KidCare. That is the point of the application, and we do it with your permission.
Partner organizations, when you ask for a referral
If we refer you to a partner organization, we share only what that organization needs to help you, and only with your permission.
Service providers
We use ordinary business services to run this website and our office — web hosting, email, form software. They can technically access information in the course of providing that service and are required to keep it confidential.
When the law requires it
We may disclose information where the law requires it, including mandatory reporting of suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult, and where someone appears to be in immediate danger.
Children's information
Much of what we do involves children — Florida KidCare enrollment, children's Medicaid, school referrals, prenatal support. When we hold information about a child, it comes from a parent, legal guardian, or a school or agency authorized to provide it.
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information directly from a child under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information through this website, call (786) 396-3144 and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your information. Note that once an application has been submitted to a State agency, that agency holds its own copy and we cannot delete theirs.
- Stop contacting you
Call (786) 396-3144 or write to us at the address below. There is no form to fill in and no cost.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.
No website or email system is completely secure. If you would rather not send sensitive details through a form, call us instead on (786) 396-3144.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it to help you and to meet our reporting and record-keeping obligations, then we dispose of it securely.
