It is an inaccurate description of\r\npractice, which is the specific thing a privacy policy exists to prevent.\r\n\r\n--------------------------------------------------------------------------------\r\n*** BLOCKING: THE HIPAA QUESTION MUST BE ANSWERED FIRST ***\r\n--------------------------------------------------------------------------------\r\nThis was raised when the referral screening form was reviewed and has not been\r\nanswered.\r\n\r\n  Is A New Life in Christ Ministries and Resources a HIPAA covered entity, or\r\n  a business associate of one?\r\n\r\nIF YES, this policy is not sufficient on its own. A covered entity must\r\npublish a NOTICE OF PRIVACY PRACTICES, which is a separate, prescribed\r\ndocument with required content and specific patient rights.
